After surviving sexual assault as a teenager, battling depression and suicidal thoughts, enduring chronic physical pain, and later becoming trapped in an abusive marriage, she found herself completely stripped down emotionally and spiritually. In 2009, after being diagnosed with spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, and hip dysplasia, Noella experienced a healing encounter with God that forever changed her life. Later, after years of emotional abuse and losing herself inside a toxic marriage, she encountered another defining moment when a prophetic word reminded her: “You are strong.” That moment became the foundation for her song “Strong Now” and marked the beginning of reclaiming her identity, voice, and purpose. Her music now carries the honesty of someone who has walked through deep valleys and still chooses worship.
